Senior Planner - Mining and Resources Projects

About the role

A leading Planning and Project Management Consultancy, recruited through Pearl Recruitment Group, is looking for a Senior Planner to lead and execute projects for clients in mining and resources, at both operator and contractor level. The role leads a team of planners through the full project lifecycle and uses existing connections to grow the business scope.

Key responsibilities

• Lead current and future project scopes from initial study to final delivery
• Manage and coordinate a team of planners so deliverables are completed on time
• Report project progress to clients and key stakeholders
• Manage cost controls and keep projects within the budgets provided by clients

Required profile

• 5 to 10 years of experience in a project planning function, in mining or resources
• Very strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lead a team of planners and engineers

• Salary of $200,000 to $300,000 per year plus superannuation, depending on experience
