Senior Pharmacist – Impactful Clinical Leadership

About the role

As a Senior Pharmacist in Toowoomba you will play a key role in improving patient outcomes, mentoring emerging clinicians and shaping better ways of delivering care within Darling Downs Health.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert medication management and advanced clinical decision‑making to improve patient health.
• Build trusted relationships with patients, carers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, coordinated care.
• Lead quality‑improvement initiatives that enhance services and create lasting positive change.
• Coach, mentor and support colleagues, students and emerging professionals.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA.
• Advanced clinical pharmacy knowledge and experience delivering patient‑centred care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build effective multidisciplinary relationships.
• Proactive leadership approach with a focus on service improvement and evidence‑based practice.
