Senior Officer Future Students and Outreach

About the role

The Global Brand and Marketing Directorate at CQUniversity is looking for an experienced engagement professional to support its Future Students and Outreach Strategy. As Senior Officer, Future Students and Outreach, you will help connect prospective students with higher education opportunities and support participation across regional Queensland, working with schools, community organisations and internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver school engagement programs, outreach events, campus experiences and targeted future student initiatives
• Build and maintain relationships with external partners
• Provide guidance and support to team members
• Contribute to projects that strengthen CQUniversity's presence in communities and support students' pathways to higher education

Required profile

• A relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience, or extensive experience and specialist expertise in marketing, student engagement, community engagement, education or a related field
• Demonstrated experience developing and delivering engagement programs, initiatives, events or campaigns with measurable outcomes
• Experience coordinating multiple projects and events, managing competing priorities and operational resources such as budgets and risk
• Experience engaging with school-aged students and diverse or underrepresented communities, including low socio-economic groups, First Nations people and rural and remote areas (desirable)
• Full Australian work rights; visa sponsorship is not available

What we offer

• Total remuneration of $114,962 to $123,815 per year (salary of $97,145 to $104,626 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
• 17% superannuation, with the option to join a superfund
• 5.4 weeks annual leave, 10 days personal/sick leave and 5 days carer's leave
• Paid parental leave up to 26 weeks (six months)
