Senior Occupational Therapist

About the role

Hearth Support Services is seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join its growing Allied Health team. You will manage complex caseloads, lead assessments and support clients in achieving long‑term home and living goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload, including complex clients.
• Oversee complex assessments such as assistive technology, home modifications, SIL and FCA.
• Lead complex cases to ensure strong clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy and Positive Behaviour Support colleagues.
• Provide supervision and mentoring for early‑career OTs.
• Support quality practice and continuous improvement.
• Contribute expertise to broader team and organisational projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in disability/community settings, preferably with adult clients with physical disabilities (e.g., CP, MD, Stroke, ABI, MS, MND, Parkinson’s).
• Strong clinical, leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Team player comfortable in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Positive, proactive attitude and commitment to ongoing learning.
