Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native & Flutter)

About the role

Horizon Digital is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to design, develop, and ship high‑quality cross‑platform mobile applications for leading Australian enterprises. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with a flat, high‑performing team and leveraging modern AI‑focused tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production‑grade React Native and Flutter applications.
• Own the full App Store and Google Play release cycle, including provisioning, signing, and store listings.
• Implement state management, API integration (REST, GraphQL), push notifications, deep linking, and offline‑first storage.
• Optimize performance through lazy loading, memory management, and render tuning.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.
• Write unit, integration, and UI tests with Jest, Detox, and Flutter Test.

Required profile

• 5+ years of mobile development experience.
• Strong production‑grade expertise in React Native and Flutter.
• Ability to work collaboratively, communicate clearly, and stay ahead of emerging AI trends.
