Senior Mental Health & Wellbeing Advisor

About the role

The Senior Mental Health & Wellbeing Advisor will shape ANZ’s approach to mental health, psychosocial risk management and employee wellbeing across a global workforce. Working closely with the Manager, Mental Health & Wellbeing, you will provide expert advice to leaders and help create psychologically safe workplaces.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and specialist advice on complex psychosocial risk and mental health matters across the business.
• Develop and implement targeted interventions, including presentations and action‑planning sessions with leadership teams.
• Lead projects that improve the management of psychosocial risk, collaborating with Talent & Culture and other business areas.
• Influence senior managers and stakeholders to ensure best‑practice outcomes aligned with legislative requirements and industry standards.
• Support ANZ in meeting its Work Health and Safety obligations related to psychosocial risk.
• Integrate psychosocial risk management into WHS systems, Talent & Culture processes, and broader business practices.

Required profile

• Strong strategic thinking and sound judgement.
• Proven ability to influence across a complex stakeholder environment.
• Experience delivering evidence‑based solutions that balance employee wellbeing with business outcomes.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, organisational priorities and industry best practice in mental health and WHS.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
