Senior Manager, Whistleblower Program

About the role

The Whistleblower Program is central to ANZ's commitment to integrity, accountability and a speaking‑up culture. As Senior Manager, you will lead the enterprise‑wide program, act as the Principal Whistleblower Protection Officer, and serve as the senior subject‑matter expert on whistleblower governance and regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Whistleblower Program and ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory obligations.
• Act as Principal Whistleblower Protection Officer, protecting whistleblower interests and overseeing case management.
• Review and approve investigation outcomes and recommendations arising from disclosures.
• Provide guidance to business leaders on obligations under ANZ's Whistleblower Policy.
• Maintain ownership of whistleblower policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Prepare and present whistleblower reporting, insights and emerging risk themes to Executive and Board Committees.
• Identify emerging conduct, culture and governance risks through disclosures and support timely escalation.
• Manage and enhance whistleblower training, awareness and communication programs across ANZ.

Required profile

• Significant senior‑level experience in compliance, risk or whistleblower program management.
• Demonstrated expertise in whistleblower governance, protections and regulatory expectations.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and work with executive and board committees.
