Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing

About the role

Ubank is looking for a senior leader to own end‑to‑end sourcing of critical digital and technology capabilities. You will act as a commercial advisor to senior executives, driving cost optimisation, risk reduction and supplier performance across the bank’s technology portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing initiatives for SaaS, cloud, security and enterprise platform solutions.
• Develop multi‑year category strategies that maximise commercial value and mitigate risk.
• Run competitive sourcing events, negotiate complex IT agreements and structure contracts to support executive decisions.
• Deliver measurable value through cost optimisation, commercial improvements and risk reduction.
• Ensure all sourcing activities comply with CPS 230 and CPS 234 regulatory requirements.
• Build strategic supplier partnerships focused on innovation, accountability and resilience.
• Provide trusted advisory support to senior leaders in Technology, Risk, Security, Finance and the broader business.

Required profile

• 8+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement or commercial management experience in IT categories.
• 5+ years in financial services with deep knowledge of CPS 230 and CPS 234.
• Proven track record of negotiating complex commercial outcomes and delivering long‑term value.
• Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
