Senior Manager Risk Policy & Strategy

About the role

As the Senior Manager – Risk Policy & Strategy, you will shape and strengthen AP+'s enterprise risk framework. You will work across the organisation to develop, implement and continuously improve risk policies, standards and strategic initiatives that align with business goals and regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, rollout and ongoing enhancement of AP+'s Risk Management Strategy, framework, policies and standards.
• Develop risk appetite measures, metrics and reporting mechanisms to monitor risk exposure.
• Drive initiatives that embed a strong risk culture through training, communications and stakeholder engagement.
• Partner with senior leaders to provide expert advice on risk policy, governance and strategic risk projects.
• Facilitate workshops and embed risk‑aware decision‑making into everyday business processes.
• Measure the effectiveness and adoption of risk policies, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Oversee governance, consultation and approval processes for enterprise risk policies.
• Monitor emerging regulatory and industry developments to keep the risk framework current.

Required profile

• Extensive experience developing and implementing enterprise risk frameworks, policies and governance in complex organisations.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cultural change.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with hands‑on delivery capability.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
