Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance

About the role

Join the Line 2 Risk and Compliance team at Mercer Super, supporting the Head of Compliance in strengthening compliance capability and responding to regulatory change. This hybrid position requires at least three days per week in the office, based in Melbourne or Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the Compliance Manager, Regulatory Compliance.
• Maintain the Compliance Management Framework and related policies.
• Provide compliance advice, review and challenge to Line 1 Risk & Controls and business stakeholders.
• Oversee key compliance processes such as conflicts management, obligations management and regulatory change.
• Conduct due‑diligence reviews of regulated documents and contribute to reporting.

Required profile

• Experience in governance, risk and compliance within superannuation.
• Ability to assess regulatory obligations and give practical advice to stakeholders.

Required skills

• Familiarity with regulatory obligations relevant to a superannuation fund.
• Tertiary qualification in law or a business‑related discipline.
