Senior Manager - Corporate Tax, Financial Services

About the role

EY Financial Services is looking for a Senior Manager to join its Corporate Tax team in Sydney. The team delivers practical, forward-thinking tax solutions to clients in banking, capital markets, wealth and asset management (including superannuation funds) and insurance, working closely with colleagues across Sydney and Brisbane.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Australian income tax advisory and compliance services to clients in banking and capital markets, wealth and asset management, and insurance.
• Manage and develop a portfolio of financial services clients, delivering tax compliance, provisions and advisory services.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, identify growth opportunities and contribute to strategic objectives.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team.

Required profile

• 8+ years' experience in Australian corporate income tax or fund tax, ideally in a top-tier or mid-tier accounting firm or corporate environment (superannuation, insurance, banking, wealth management).
• Completed CA qualifications or equivalent.
• Ability to manage multiple complex engagements, influence outcomes and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Proven leadership skills and a passion for coaching and developing teams.
