Senior Lecturer – IT & Cybersecurity

About the role

The International Health & Science Institute is seeking a full‑time Senior Lecturer in IT and Cybersecurity for its Bachelor of Information Technology and Cybersecurity program. Based on the Greater Sydney Area campus, you will join a growing tertiary institution dedicated to delivering high‑quality education in fast‑evolving technology fields.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures in Information Technology and Cybersecurity.
• Develop and update course materials, assessments and learning resources.
• Guide and mentor students through projects, labs and research activities.
• Conduct academic research and publish findings in relevant journals.
• Contribute to curriculum design and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with fellow faculty members and participate in institutional initiatives and events.

Required profile

• PhD in IT, Cybersecurity or a closely related discipline.
• Extensive and demonstrable knowledge and experience in Information Technology.
• Graduate certificate in tertiary education **or** at least 5 years of teaching experience in a higher‑education environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Proven experience in academic research and publication.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CCSP are highly desirable.
