Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer you will support the technology environment across a national network of clinics and hubs, providing advanced expertise in Microsoft 365, cloud, networking, security and modern workplace technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, support and continuously improve Microsoft 365, Azure and infrastructure platforms.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex incidents and problems across infrastructure, networking, security and Microsoft 365.
• Identify risks and recurring issues, delivering improvements to security, reliability and performance.
• Lead technical projects from planning through implementation, ensuring business outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams and operational procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to standards, governance and security controls.

Required profile

• At least 3 years in a senior infrastructure engineering role within a medium‑to‑large enterprise.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 administration (Entra, Defender XDR, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).
• Proficiency with Azure services (compute, storage, networking, security).
• Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure (VPNs, firewalls, switching, Wi‑Fi).
• Excellent problem‑analysis, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
