Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will support the technology environment across a national network of clinics and hubs. This hands‑on senior position combines complex problem‑solving, project delivery and continuous improvement of Microsoft 365, cloud, networking and security platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, support and continuously improve Microsoft 365, Azure and infrastructure platforms.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex incidents related to infrastructure, networking, security and Microsoft 365.
• Identify risks and recurring issues, delivering improvements that boost security, reliability and performance.
• Lead technical projects from planning through to successful implementation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Create and maintain high‑quality documentation, architecture diagrams and operational procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to standards, governance and security controls.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of senior infrastructure engineering experience in a medium to large enterprise.
• Strong hands‑on experience administering Microsoft 365 (Entra, Defender XDR, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).
• Proficiency with Azure services (compute, storage, networking, security).
• Solid knowledge of identity and access management, including Conditional Access and Privileged Identity Management.
• Excellent analytical skills to resolve complex technical issues and deliver practical solutions.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and engage effectively with stakeholders.
