Senior Graphic Designer

About the role

Griffon ANZ is seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to lead creative projects across packaging, digital, marketing and brand communications. You will shape how our consumer brands connect with customers and mentor junior designers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of packaging, print, POS, digital, social media, website, video and campaign assets.
• Develop innovative concepts that strengthen brand presence and meet commercial goals.
• Create production‑ready packaging artwork and product graphics.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Sales and Merchandising teams to launch new products and campaigns.
• Produce engaging digital content, including social media assets, website graphics, email campaigns and video.
• Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
• Present concepts to stakeholders and work with external agencies, photographers, printers and suppliers.
• Identify opportunities to improve creative processes and stay ahead of design trends and AI tools.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio covering brand development, packaging and digital campaigns.
• Excellent project management, organisational and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to balance creativity with commercial outcomes and mentor junior team members.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud – Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
• Experience with video editing and motion graphics (After Effects, Premiere Pro preferred).
• Strong knowledge of print production, packaging artwork and pre‑press requirements.
