Senior Frontend Engineer – Consumer Applications

About the role

Referment is partnering with a fintech company to hire a Senior Frontend Engineer for its product engineering team. You will work on consumer‑facing applications where usability, performance and security are critical to the customer experience with their money.

Key responsibilities

• Build new features and refine existing interfaces across the business’s consumer applications.
• Collaborate with designers to translate product requirements into clear, usable experiences.
• Incorporate performance and security considerations while writing readable, maintainable code.
• Review peers’ work and share technical knowledge across the team.

Required profile

• At least five years of software engineering experience, including two years with JavaScript.
• Proven experience building complex web applications using React or a comparable frontend framework.
• Ability to explain technical choices clearly and quickly learn unfamiliar tools when needed.
• Strong interest in both visual design and reliable interface behavior.
• UX design experience or open‑source contributions are a plus.
