Senior FP&A Manager - Real Estate Fund

About the role

A sponsor-backed real estate fund manager with a strong acquisition pipeline and significant dry powder is looking for a Senior FP&A Manager. The role is not about producing the forecast, but making it right, explaining why it moved and showing what the business should do next. You will report to the CFO and the Investment Committee.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and reforecasting across the fund and its assets, built from the asset level up
• Own the fund financial model: cash flow, distributions, debt, hedging and covenant forecasting
• Deliver monthly management, Board and Investment Committee reporting on NOI, occupancy, leasing, WALE, capex and valuations
• Provide financial modelling and analysis for acquisitions, divestments, developments and capital raisings
• Run scenario analysis on gearing, hedging, capital recycling and distribution policy
• Contribute finance input to investor and lender reporting
• Improve FP&A processes, systems and reporting as the fund grows

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Experience in FP&A, commercial finance or senior finance business partnering
• Strong financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting skills
• Real estate, property, funds management or infrastructure experience is a strong advantage but not essential
• Confidence presenting to Boards, Investment Committees and senior executives
