Senior Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Controller to lead the finance function across a multi-entity group operating in Australia, Asia and soon the US. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be the single source of truth for all financial data, handling everything from investor-ready reporting to day-to-day transaction checks.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain Xero ledgers for all entities, ensure monthly close, clean chart of accounts and accurate reconciliations.
• Produce weekly cash‑flow forecasts, monitor supplier payments, flag waste and duplicate charges, and provide founder‑level cash dashboards.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L by entity, balance sheet, budget vs actuals, gross margin analysis, CAC, contribution margin, and compile board and investor packs.
• Manage group finance backbone: allocate operating entity costs, maintain cost‑plus reporting and transfer‑pricing documentation.
• Conduct commercial finance analysis including product profitability, pricing, inventory planning, launch scenarios, hiring cost models, healthcare unit economics and supplier cost reviews.
• Oversee cross‑border finance compliance: offshore corporate tax, GST, transfer pricing, multi‑currency treasury (AUD, SGD, PHP, USD, GBP), Australian ATO compliance and upcoming US entity setup.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in multi‑entity, cross‑border finance, including offshore tax filings and transfer pricing.
• Hands‑on approach with ability to dive into detailed transaction checks as well as produce strategic investor‑ready reports.
• Strong partnership skills, working closely with the CEO and Chief of Staff.
• Proven track record of managing finance for consumer wellness or regulated healthcare ventures is a plus.
