Senior Financial Accountant

About the role

The Senior Financial Accountant will support the Financial Controller and partner closely with business units to ensure the integrity and accuracy of Holcim’s financial records. This role is responsible for monthly financial consolidation, reporting and compliance with accounting principles and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit all monthly group management reports on strict month‑end timetables.
• Ensure adherence to Holcim Accounting & Reporting Principles (HARP) and internal accounting policies.
• Perform financial consolidation, analysis of trends, risks and opportunities.
• Provide financial guidance to business partners and support decision‑making.
• Identify process improvements and areas of risk, and contribute to special projects and ad‑hoc analysis.
• Deliver financial training and support to non‑finance staff.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in financial accounting and month‑end close.
• Proven ability to consolidate financial data and produce accurate management reports.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, internal controls and reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
• Ability to build relationships with finance business partners and cross‑functional teams.
