Senior Finance Manager – Business Partnering

About the role

Lead change and influence operations as a Senior Finance Manager within a nationally recognised, fast‑paced business. You will own the Brisbane business unit P&L, partner with operations, sales and senior stakeholders, and support a major ERP transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Brisbane business unit P&L and financial performance.
• Lead monthly reporting, close processes and financial sign‑off activities.
• Review balance‑sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls.
• Partner with Operations, Sales and senior stakeholders to influence decision‑making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and re‑forecasting activities.
• Develop financial models, business cases and scenario analysis.
• Analyse operational and financial KPIs to identify risks and opportunities.
• Deliver insightful reporting and performance commentary to leadership teams.
• Drive cost‑reduction, productivity and margin‑improvement initiatives.
• Support ERP transformation and drive system improvements.

Required profile

• Hands‑on Finance Manager or Financial Controller with full P&L ownership experience.
• CA or CPA qualification.
• Proven experience in a financial leadership role, preferably within logistics, transport, industrial services or similar operational environments.
• Strong month‑end, financial reporting and control capability.
• Demonstrated success driving business improvement and profitability initiatives.
