Senior Digital Health Pharmacist

About the role

Austin Health is seeking a Senior Digital Health Pharmacist to lead the implementation of integrated automated dispensing cabinets and closed‑loop medication administration across its campuses. You will work closely with pharmacy leadership, the digital health team, clinical stakeholders, and the Cerner EMR & ICT teams to ensure safe, efficient medication workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Engage and consult key clinical stakeholders while collaborating with the pharmacy digital health team, Cerner EMR team and external vendors.
• Design, build, test and validate clinical workflows that support automated dispensing and closed‑loop medication administration.
• Develop and deliver change‑management and education materials for both clinical and technical users.
• Provide day‑to‑day support and monitoring for role‑based communication tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a hospital pharmacist.
• Deep understanding of hospital medication workflows and medication‑safety strategies.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively, lead initiatives and perform under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient care.
