Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Publicis Sapient is looking for a Senior DevOps engineer to design, implement and manage cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions that improve the scalability, security and efficiency of digital platforms. You will work closely with engineering teams to automate deployment, monitoring and maintenance, ensuring reliable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure or GCP following best practices.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimise performance, scalability and security.
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform, CloudFormation or ARM templates.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery and compliance of cloud systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues to keep downtime low and resolution fast.
• Automate repetitive tasks and implement security best practices such as access control, encryption and vulnerability management.
• Work with cross-functional teams to align DevOps practices with business goals.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and lead cross-functional teams.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Scripting: Python, Shell or PowerShell.
• Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or CloudWatch.
• Networking, security and compliance knowledge; knowledge of serverless, microservices and DevSecOps is a plus.
