Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

CreditorWatch is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead platform initiatives across our AWS‑based environment. You will act as a senior individual contributor, owning end‑to‑end slices of the platform, driving cost efficiency, reliability, and self‑service tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize multi‑account AWS costs through dashboards, budgets, right‑sizing, and Savings Plans.
• Retire legacy runtimes, simplify infrastructure, and enforce guardrails with SCPs and tagging.
• Govern AI/Bedrock usage, set spend limits and attribution.
• Extend SLO coverage, manage SLOs and monitors as Terraform code.
• Make error budgets actionable, reduce alert noise, and track MTTD/MTTR.
• Integrate alerting into incident management workflows.
• Collaborate with the Head of DevOps and a lean, high‑leverage team.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with a strong ownership mindset.
• Proven ability to set technical direction and raise team standards.
• Experience working in fast‑growing, data‑driven technology companies.
