Senior Dentist – General Dentistry

About the role

Goulburn Valley Health Dental Services is looking for a Senior Dentist to join its team and provide general dentistry in a community setting. The role is permanent part-time, about 32 hours per fortnight, based in Graham Street, Shepparton. You will work autonomously within a large team, with support and mentoring from senior clinicians as you develop your clinical skills.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general dentistry in a clinical setting
• Treat patients under general anaesthetic
• Contribute to the outreach service
• Work within a large team and mentor junior staff and supervise students

Required profile

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Dentist
• Demonstrated experience in all areas of clinical dentistry
• Experience mentoring junior staff and supervising students
• Good communication skills and a good understanding of patient confidentiality
• Ability to work in a large team environment

Required skills

• Current Radiation Operators Licence
• Knowledge and experience with dental software programs
• Excellent working knowledge of titanium
