Senior Cybercrime Analyst – Intelligence & Disruption

About the role
The Intelligence & Disruption Senior Analyst joins ANZ’s Customer Protection Strategy & Performance team. You will help safeguard customers from phishing, malware and other cyber‑crime threats by analysing incidents, automating detection processes and sharing knowledge across the bank.
Key responsibilities
- Automate and optimise cyber‑crime analysis workflows.
- Detect compromised credentials and fraudulent activity using behavioural biometric platforms.
- Gather, analyse and act on cyber‑crime intelligence related to phishing and malware.
- Develop processes for big‑data correlation and investigative analysis.
- Manage vendor relationships for detection tools such as BioCatch and IBM Trusteer.
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics or related roles, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Proven experience in technical investigation and root‑cause analysis of digital fraud.
- Strong understanding of banking‑focused malware, phishing techniques and IT security.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and support rapid decision‑making.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., GREM, CISSP) are a plus.
Required skills
- Behavioural biometric fraud detection.
- Experience with SIEM tools.
- Knowledge of BioCatch and IBM Trusteer platforms.
