Senior CRA - Phase I Oncology (NSW/VIC)

About the role

ICON Strategic Solutions is hiring a Senior CRA for its Phase I oncology studies in NSW and VIC. Working in a sponsor-dedicated model, you will oversee and manage clinical trial activities so they follow protocol, regulatory requirements and industry standards. The role leads on clinical trial monitoring tasks with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements and GCP standards
• Conduct site visits to assess site performance, resolve issues and support successful trial execution
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting
• Train and guide site staff and other CRAs to maintain high standards of clinical trial conduct
• Build and maintain relationships with site personnel and stakeholders

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field
• Extensive experience as a Clinical Research Associate with a strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to manage multiple sites and projects at once, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, able to influence compliance in a complex environment
• Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
