Senior Cost Manager – MEP

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an MEP Senior Cost Manager to join our busy Real Estate team in our Brisbane office. You will support our clients to deliver projects and programmes across a variety of sectors, leading the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) specific deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Assist on feasibility studies and write procurement reports.
• Produce and present final cost plans to internal and external clients.
• Manage tendering processes, including single and two‑stage procurement.
• Handle post‑contract cost variances and change control.
• Carry out cost checks, valuations and monthly post‑contract cost reports.
• Negotiate and agree final accounts and interface with clients and consultants at all project stages.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering high‑quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle.
• Professional qualification (RICS or AIQS) or working towards it.
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience delivering MEP elements of work for clients and strong contacts within the MEP supply chain.
• Proficiency in using digital software for cost management services.
