Senior Consultant - Workforce Transformation

About the role

EY is hiring a Senior Consultant in Workforce Transformation within its People Consulting practice. You will deliver workforce transformation initiatives for Australian Federal Government clients, combining executive-level communication, stakeholder engagement and consulting capability to structure complex problems and support decisions on strategic workforce planning, workforce strategy, operating model and organisational design. The role is hybrid, based in Canberra (Ngambri), and applicants must be Australian citizens eligible for an Australian Government security clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver workforce transformation workstreams across complex Federal Government programs, partnering with senior stakeholders to define outcomes and turn strategy into action.
• Prepare executive briefings, presentations and recommendations, and run workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Analyse workforce, organisational and business data to generate insights and support evidence-based recommendations.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance through the AGSVA.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant consulting experience, preferably in Australian Government environments.
• Previous experience in professional services consulting or internal consulting is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Strong executive communication, consulting and stakeholder engagement skills, including briefing preparation.
• Ideally: strategic workforce planning, operating model development, workforce strategy, organisational design, workforce analytics, capability assessments, demand and supply analysis and scenario planning.
