Senior Consultant - Technology

About the role

Proxima is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its IT and Technology practice in Melbourne. You will lead complex workstreams, manage senior stakeholders, and deliver innovative solutions while mentoring junior consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery across client engagements, overseeing teams and workstreams.
• Identify opportunities, conduct supplier research and commercial analysis to drive client value.
• Coach and develop junior consultants and contribute to thought leadership.
• Engage directly with senior client stakeholders to gather requirements and align objectives.
• Facilitate workshops, working sessions and day‑to‑day client interactions.
• Operate in a hybrid model, balancing client, home and office work, and travel as needed.

Required profile

• Experience in enterprise software, IT services or cloud hosting environments.
• Background in consulting, procurement, supply chain or related analytical roles.
• Strong knowledge of indirect procurement and experience with spend profiles over $50M annually.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder engagement across complex projects.
• Excellent analytical capability and confidence working with data.
• Consulting mindset with senior stakeholder communication skills.
