Senior Consultant - Internal Audit Risk Consulting

About the role

EY is hiring a Senior Consultant for its Risk Consulting, Process & Controls practice, delivering quality client services while maintaining long-term client relationships and cultivating business development opportunities. This is a hybrid position based in Warringah, Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Support clients in aligning internal audit strategies with business objectives through assessments, transformation initiatives and co-sourced or outsourced audit services.
• Identify, assess and analyse operational and enterprise risks, recommending improvements to risk management frameworks.
• Evaluate the impact of emerging legislation and regulatory requirements on compliance, financial and operational risks.
• Perform internal control and SOX testing, assess control frameworks and support risk-based internal audit plans.
• Deliver internal audits across compliance, financial, operational and strategic risk areas.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, business, accounting or a related discipline.
• Experience in internal audit.
• Professional accreditations such as CPA, CISA, CA, CIA, CISM, CISSP, CBCP or CIPP are considered favourably within one year of hire.
• Ideally, professional services experience or work with a large multi-faceted organisation.
