Senior Consultant – Data & Analytics

About the role

As a Senior Consultant you will lead the technical delivery of large‑scale data platform and business intelligence solutions for Datacom’s clients. This client‑facing position requires strong communication, stakeholder engagement and the ability to design, implement and own robust data and insight platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Work with business users to identify consulting opportunities and elicit requirements through workshops.
• Contribute to technical architecture, design and delivery of modern data and insight platforms, including data modelling, AI‑driven migration and performance optimisation.
• Design and deploy self‑service analytics solutions using Power BI and provide documentation, training and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years delivering data warehousing, data platform or BI solutions and 5+ years developing semantic data models and reporting.
• Proven ability to consult, influence and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong stakeholder management capabilities.

Required skills

• Enterprise Data Warehouse design and modernisation (Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform, Databricks).
• Data modelling (relational, dimensional, Star and Snowflake schemas).
• SQL and Python development for data engineering and analytics.
• Power BI (semantic modelling, Power Query, DAX, dashboard development).
• CI/CD pipelines, Git source control and deployment automation.
• Cloud platforms – Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
