Senior Community Engagement Advisor

About the role

A local government body is recruiting a Senior Community Engagement Advisor for a full-time, fixed-term position of 5 years, working Monday to Friday (75 hours per fortnight). You will lead strategic engagement initiatives that shape key projects, services and decisions across the City, working with internal stakeholders, community members and external partners to give community voices a hearing.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience leading complex stakeholder engagement and communications programs
• Experience delivering community consultation and engagement programs
• Experience managing contentious, sensitive or high-profile community issues
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders and community groups
• Satisfactory National Police Certificate and the right to work in Australia; work sponsorship requests are not considered

What we offer

• Level 7 salary of $102,391 to $108,637 per annum plus 12% superannuation
