Senior Communications Manager

About the role

Lead strategy and delivery for a portfolio of luxury fashion and lifestyle brands, including Dior, Saint Laurent, BOSS and Australian Fashion Week. Translate client objectives into integrated programs across media, social, influencers and culture while developing leadership capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage senior day‑to‑day client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and delivering exceptional service.
• Develop and lead integrated communications strategies from planning through implementation and reporting.
• Lead influencer, KOL and ambassador programmes, overseeing talent selection, briefing, content creation and amplification.
• Drive media relations across print, digital and broadcast to secure coverage that reflects each brand’s positioning.
• Identify cultural moments in fashion, sport, art, food and lifestyle to connect brands.
• Oversee campaign timelines, budgets and reporting, using insights to inform future strategy.
• Support brand activations and events as required.
• Mentor and support junior team members.

Required profile

• Established senior account manager (or equivalent) experience within a PR agency or relevant in‑house role, with 6+ years experience.
• Experience in fashion, luxury lifestyle or premium consumer brand communications.
• Polished communicator who builds long‑term relationships with clients, media and talent.
• Strategically minded with ability to translate objectives into tailored brand stories.
• Meticulous attention to detail and understanding of the care required for luxury brands.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high standards.
