Senior Communications Advisor – Community & Stakeholder Engagement

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Senior Communications Advisor to lead community and stakeholder engagement for the $5.75 billion Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail project. You will work closely with the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Manager to ensure clear, consistent messaging across multiple work fronts and station precincts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage stakeholder enquiries and complaints.
• Prepare works notifications, fact sheets and newsletters.
• Maintain the Open Point stakeholder database.
• Support Community Information Sessions and Reference Groups.
• Assist with stakeholder management reporting.
• Develop high‑level messaging for media and hot issues.
• Prepare internal updates and corporate communications.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR or Journalism.
• Proven experience in stakeholder or community engagement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Certificate in Engagement (IAP2) highly regarded.
• Confidence handling sensitive or complex issues.
