Senior Commercial Home & Investment Lending Manager - QLD

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Senior Commercial Home & Investment Lending Manager (CHILM) in Queensland. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Brisbane. As a Senior CHILM you deliver the business objectives of the role, mentor and coach your immediate team and, when needed, other accredited lenders and bankers in the region. You hold key commercial stakeholder relationships in a defined region, including many large and complex groups, and work with the Regional Manager Commercial Home Loans to set the team's annual targets.

Key responsibilities

• Serve mid-market commercial clients as a home and investment lending specialist, identifying suitable products and solutions
• Partner with commercial bankers and co-manage clients to deepen relationships and grow the total wallet
• Drive portfolio growth by increasing customer inflow and reducing attrition, and outperform retail district targets
• Build knowledge of the local market, spot emerging trends and drive customer and stakeholder referrals
• Identify business development opportunities and refer business back to the branch network and commercial partners
• Lead improvement initiatives across the region and coach other lenders, acting as a go-to person for complex problems
• Workshop transactions with stakeholders in Retail and Commercial, and feed feedback up to leadership
• Deliver excellent customer service and act on customer feedback

Required profile

• Ideally previous credit experience with deep product and market knowledge
• Proven results through relationship sales and customer service
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
• Strong financial acumen and understanding of different lending structures
• Embraces change, proactive, detail-oriented and committed to quality
