Senior Commercial Home & Investment Lending Manager

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position is based in Metro Sydney and reports to the Regional Manager Commercial Home Loans. As a Senior Commercial Home & Investment Lending Manager (CHILM) you will lead a team of lenders, mentor junior staff and drive the growth of ANZ's commercial home‑loan portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver business objectives and behaviours expected of a CHILM.
• Mentor, coach and influence immediate team members and other accredited lenders across the region.
• Maintain and develop complex commercial stakeholder relationships within a defined region.
• Partner with the Regional Manager to set and achieve collective team targets.
• Act as a dedicated home and investment lending specialist for mid‑market commercial clients, identifying suitable products and solutions.
• Co‑manage client relationships with commercial bankers to deepen whole‑of‑wallet engagement.
• Drive portfolio growth by increasing customer inflow and reducing attrition.
• Provide market insights, highlight emerging trends and generate referrals.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience in commercial home or investment lending.
• Proven ability to mentor and coach banking professionals.
• Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Positive, problem‑solving attitude with a “can‑do” mindset.
• Track record of achieving sales and performance targets.
