Senior Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead multi‑cloud initiatives across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services. This 6‑month contract will focus on designing, migrating, and securing enterprise workloads while ensuring operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimise enterprise cloud solutions on Azure and AWS.
• Lead cloud migration, integration and modernisation projects.
• Implement cloud security, governance, compliance and cyber‑hygiene controls.
• Manage monitoring, alerting, service availability and operational excellence.
• Deploy and maintain identity, key‑management and access‑control services.
• Drive vulnerability remediation, patch management and disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define architecture standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience with Azure and AWS environments.
• Strong background in multi‑cloud architecture, migration and modernisation.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security, governance and IAM.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting and ITIL‑based service management.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts.
