Senior Clinical Research Associate (SCRA)

About the role

ICON Strategic Solutions is hiring a Senior CRA in a sponsor-dedicated model, supported by ICON's global expertise. As the world's largest FSP organisation, ICON works with over 90 sponsor partnerships. The Senior CRA oversees and manages clinical trial activities so they are conducted according to protocol, regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead clinical trial monitoring tasks with a focus on quality and continuous improvement
• Monitor clinical trial sites for adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements and GCP standards
• Conduct site visits to assess site performance, resolve issues and support successful trial execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on timely and accurate data collection and reporting
• Train and guide site staff and other CRAs on clinical trial conduct
• Build relationships with site personnel and stakeholders to keep trial operations running smoothly

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field
• Extensive experience as a Clinical Research Associate with a strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to manage multiple sites and projects at once, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based

Required skills

• Expertise in monitoring practices, data integrity and site management
• Proficiency in relevant clinical trial software and tools
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
