Senior Clinical Research Associate (Remote/Hybrid)

About the role

ICON Strategic Solutions is hiring a Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) in a sponsor-dedicated model, working remotely or hybrid. As a Senior CRA, you will oversee and manage clinical trial activities so that they follow the protocol, regulatory requirements and industry standards, leading on monitoring tasks that require technical depth and a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards.
• Conduct site visits to assess site performance, resolve issues and support successful trial execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate data collection and reporting.
• Provide training and guidance to site staff and other CRAs.
• Build and maintain relationships with site personnel and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field.
• Extensive experience as a Clinical Research Associate with a strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple sites and projects at once, with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
