Senior Civil Engineer

About the role

Senior Civil Engineer at Aurecon, working within the Mining & Resources team in Brisbane. You will contribute to major infrastructure projects across resources, mining, industrial ports, energy and oil & gas, delivering solutions that strengthen communities and support a sustainable future.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver assessments and design of bulk earthworks, drainage, pavement, geotechnical coordination and underground services.
• Support project delivery from concept and feasibility through detailed design, construction support and sustainment works.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve technical challenges and communicate solutions effectively.
• Apply strong engineering fundamentals to provide tailored design solutions for private asset clients.

Required profile

• Relevant civil engineering qualifications and demonstrated experience, with a willingness to continue learning.
• Ability to translate engineering outcomes into clear language for clients, stakeholders and other disciplines.
• Proven track record of delivering practical, impactful outcomes.
• Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills, with a big‑picture perspective.
