Senior Civil Designer

About the role

You will join a professional, collaborative team of engineers, designers and drafters working on a diverse range of property development and government projects across the Gold Coast. The role focuses on preparing accurate civil design and drafting drawings for land development and built‑form projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare civil design and drafting drawings for drainage, water supply, sewerage reticulation, roads and subdivisions, ensuring compliance with SEQ standards and regulations.
• Lead the delivery of design documentation phases, working alongside senior designers and project managers on a strong pipeline of upcoming projects.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience preparing civil design drawings for land development and built‑form projects in Queensland.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Design and knowledge of Australian standards and local council guidelines.

Required skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Civil 12D drafting software.
• Ability to interpret survey data, engineering plans and geotechnical reports to produce accurate documentation.
