Senior Case Manager - Workers Compensation

About the role

Gallagher is looking for experienced Senior Case Managers to join its team in Parramatta, NSW. This is described as a career-defining role within a unique service model for injured workers and clients, offering a growing team and a positive, collaborative culture.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and provide case management support across around 40 claim portfolios at different stages of the return to work journey
• Engage with insured employers, injured employees, rehabilitation professionals, medical practitioners and legal providers to achieve the best outcomes for all parties
• Support the physical and psychological needs of injured workers through services in mental health, technical and rehabilitation support hubs
• Contribute to excellent return to work outcomes and lead the end-to-end claims management life cycle
• Coach and mentor case managers and collaborate with the Mental Health, Recovery and RTW and Technical support hubs

Required profile

• Previous experience in case management within a workers compensation setting
• Customer-focused approach, able to build trust and rapport, with a genuine passion for helping people
• Team player who enjoys collaboration and coaching and mentoring others
• Tertiary qualifications or experience in Allied Health or injury rehabilitation desirable but not mandatory

Required skills

• Exceptional time management and organisational skills
• Highly developed communication skills, able to engage at all levels of organisation
