Senior C++ Engineer – High‑Performance Fraud Prevention

About the role

We are looking for a Senior C++ Engineer to design and develop high‑performance, low‑latency backend services that power our global fraud‑prevention platform. You will work on systems that process billions of transactions in real time, collaborating with data scientists, platform engineers, and product managers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑throughput C++ backend services.
• Build and optimise multi‑threaded, low‑latency components for real‑time transaction processing.
• Integrate with NoSQL databases and message‑queue technologies to handle large data flows.
• Contribute to scripting and configuration layers that drive system behaviour.
• Collaborate with teams building microservices in Go and Python.
• Profile, troubleshoot, and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in architecture decisions and promote engineering best practices.
• Review code, mentor junior engineers, and ensure high‑quality, testable code.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in modern C++ (C++17/20).
• Strong background in multi‑threaded programming and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to work on low‑latency, high‑throughput services.
• Experience collaborating across cross‑functional teams.
