Senior Business Banking Manager

About the role

The Senior Business Banking Manager will lead the acquisition of new business customers for ANZ’s Business & Private Bank in Geelong. You will build and nurture relationships with brokers, real‑estate agents, accountants and business owners, delivering comprehensive finance solutions that grow funds under management.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand a deep network of broker and professional relationships.
• Drive a disciplined weekly operating rhythm to generate strong sales momentum.
• Leverage data and insights to identify and engage potential and existing customers.
• Make cold calls as part of the acquisition strategy.
• Collaborate with internal ANZ stakeholders to solve complex financing problems.
• Deliver excellent customer outcomes and experiences.

Required profile

• Proven business development experience in banking or financial services.
• Experience assessing and managing credit risk.
• Strong planning and prioritisation skills to meet customer and strategic goals.
• Commercial acumen with a focus on long‑term value creation.
• Effective stakeholder management across multiple industry segments.
