Senior Business Analyst

About the role

As a Senior Business Analyst at Shift, you will lead the delivery of highly complex, enterprise‑scale financial technology initiatives. You will work autonomously to tackle ambiguous delivery challenges and shape business outcomes from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery and strategy sessions with senior stakeholders to capture high‑level business and technical requirements.
• Drive analysis and solution design for large‑scale migration programmes and core‑banking transformations.
• Oversee end‑to‑end process mapping, gap analysis and operational redesign in high‑ambiguity environments.
• Architect and manage data migrations and interfaces between legacy and next‑gen core systems.
• Author business cases, cost/benefit analyses and executive reporting to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst in financial services, preferably within core banking or similarly complex domains.
• Proven track record of leading complex system migrations and technical integration projects from inception to delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive influencing skills.
• Independent, proactive mindset with ability to navigate high degrees of ambiguity.
• Experience mentoring and developing business analysts and operational teams.
