About the role

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Senior Brand Manager to lead the direct-to-consumer (DTC) and social media marketing for its growing portfolio of scheduled medicines and OTC brands in Australia. The role is highly visible and strategic, overseeing the full consumer journey from awareness to purchase across digital, social and pharmacy channels.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive new product launches, from messaging development and pre-launch seeding to post-launch performance tracking and lifecycle management.
  • Design and manage non-personal promotion activities such as sample-request fax programs, e-details, webinars and KOL engagements.
  • Collaborate with field sales to create in-pharmacy POS, wholesaler collateral, banner-group programs and pharmacy education tools.
  • Generate consumer and HCP insights to refine messaging, positioning and campaign tactics.
  • Develop and execute annual brand plans and integrated omnichannel campaigns with a focus on DTC and pharmacy-facing tactics.
  • Own brand presence including website management, customer communications and pharmacy referral programmes.
  • Lead social media strategy across Meta, TikTok, Google (Search & YouTube), X and emerging platforms, covering organic content, paid media, community management and influencer/KOL partnerships.
  • Manage end-to-end paid social and search campaigns – from brief to creative, trafficking, daily optimisation, reporting and insight generation.
  • Perform deep-dive analytics using Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics 4, TikTok Ads and internal dashboards to optimise ROI.
  • Partner with content creators to produce high-performing video, static, story and reel assets.
  • Ensure 100 % compliance with Medicines Australia Code of Conduct, TGA regulations and internal legal/medical review processes.

Required profile

  • 8-10 + years of marketing experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, healthcare or regulated consumer health categories (prescription, S2/S3).
  • Proven track record in direct-to-consumer and social-first marketing.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical categories and regulated communications.
  • Experience working with field sales teams and managing non-personal promotion programmes.
  • Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into actionable strategy.
