Senior Brand and Activation Manager - Vodka & Tequila (12-Month Contract)

About the role

Diageo's Marketing team is looking for a Senior Brand and Activation Manager for a 12-month contract in Sydney, covering vodka and tequila. You will lead the development and execution of integrated brand activation programs that build brand equity, drive consumer engagement and deliver commercial growth across key channels, customers and occasions, working closely with Commercial, Digital, Insights and Innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Translate brand strategy into local activation plans and develop annual activation calendars aligned with business objectives, connecting media, experiential, digital, retail and advocacy channels
• Localise global and regional campaigns for market relevance
• Lead experiential events, sponsorships, trade activations and consumer experiences, including recruitment initiatives across priority brands, to increase awareness, trial, conversion and loyalty
• Manage creative, experiential, media and PR agencies, oversee activation budgets and ensure strong ROI, delivering on time and within budget
• Track activation KPIs, business results and M&E, analyse consumer, customer and market data, and present performance reviews and recommendations to senior leadership
• Lead brand activation managers, agencies and project teams, influence stakeholders without direct authority, coach the team and foster collaboration across Marketing, Commercial, Finance, Supply and Supply Innovation

Required profile

• 7+ years in FMCG marketing, brand management, customer marketing or activation
• Proven experience leading large-scale consumer campaigns, innovations or events
• Experience managing significant budgets
• Strong commercial and P&L understanding
