Senior Backend Software Engineer

About the role

EasygoEasygo is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead backend development of large‑scale entertainment experiences. You will work in a fast‑paced, learning‑focused environment, tackling complex technical challenges and shaping the future of the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, micro‑services architecture, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Lead technical discussions, drive improvements, and own medium‑sized projects from conception to production.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers, share best practices, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of hands‑on backend development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn new technologies, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, WebSockets, Pub/Sub.
• Microservices, Docker, CI/CD tools (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions).
• Cloud services: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch.
• Frontend frameworks (experience preferred): Svelte, SvelteKit, React + NextJS, Vue + Nuxt, Quasar, JavaScript fundamentals, Storybook.
