Senior Azure Virtual Desktop & Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud & Virtual Desktop Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and support of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments and related cloud services. The role involves ensuring secure, high‑performance cloud infrastructure for enterprise users.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support Azure Cloud infrastructure and services.
• Configure, maintain, and optimise Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity and access management.
• Provide basic support for AWS cloud services and perform routine cloud operations.
• Monitor system performance, security, and availability, and troubleshoot issues.
• Implement cloud security and access‑control best practices.
• Collaborate with IT teams on cloud deployment, migration, and documentation activities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Azure and AWS cloud technologies.
• Proven experience designing, deploying, and supporting Azure Virtual Desktop solutions.
• Strong knowledge of identity management using Microsoft Entra ID.
• Solid understanding of networking, virtualization, and cloud security principles.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
