Senior Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a high‑performing Senior Auditor to lead internal audit and assurance engagements within our Assurance practice in Brisbane. The role combines technical audit expertise with client relationship management and business development, offering a platform to influence outcomes and accelerate your career.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver internal audit and assurance engagements from planning through fieldwork to reporting.
• Support and co‑lead client engagements, ensuring high‑quality outcomes and strong client satisfaction.
• Build and maintain key client relationships, contributing to account management and growth.
• Assist in developing new client opportunities and strategic engagements across targeted sectors.
• Manage project delivery, including resourcing, timelines, financial performance, and quality assurance.
• Prepare reports and presentations outlining insights, findings and recommendations for clients.
• Collaborate with Partners, Principals and broader teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Contribute to internal initiatives such as methodology development, marketing collateral and practice improvements.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience delivering internal audit and assurance engagements at a senior level.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to balance quality, timelines and commercial outcomes.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercial acumen and ability to identify business development opportunities.
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CIA) or working towards them.
• Proactive approach to continuous learning and professional development.
